Hello, we are one yr old next month at raising chickens. we bought 3 hens and a rooster from a neighbor last yr and a month later went to the feed store and picked up "3" pullets one turned out to be a cockerel(clyde) which is what we named him. he is the most beautiful rooster we've ever seen(if that's possible). we recently rescued 8 more hens from a bad situation where they had not laid eggs for almost 2 months. Not even a week and they have begun to lay eggs again and with fresh water and variety of food are thriving. we are very happy to have acquired such a blessing in these chickens.
P.S. they run 1acre of our 2 acre lot!!!!
