New to chickens!

Hubby and I just picked up our first coop. I'm so eggsited! I have been wanting to raise chickens long time. Now we just have to put it together and meet our new girls! Haven't decided on Pullets or chicks, guess I'll see who jumps out to me when we hit the feed store. I'm thinking Pullets because I just can't wait!

typically feed stores only sell chicks, and chicks are sold a cockerels, pullets or straight run (mix of both). If you are looking for started pullets you may have to beyond your feed store to find them.

Before you put the coop together, check the reviews if it's a cheap Chinese kit sold at tsc, Costco and other farm supply stores. You should return it if that's what it is.
