This is my first girl Nico. We just adopted her and was wondering if anyone could identify her breed. She has laid one large brown egg, featherless legs and is a very sweet bird who warmed up after a day.
I would like to get 4 more birds. I have decided on a Serama but not settled on anything else.
Surfing the forum and knowledge center and glad to have this site and community to help guide me on my way.

I'm no expert but, I believe she is an "easter egger," You can post her photo at "what breed or gender is this," and give many others a chance to speak up. If she is your only bird, she needs buddies. Chickens are flock animals and do best with in a group.

If you are interested in seramas. I believe "Froggieshens," BYC name raises them., and lives in Washington. You could put "American Seramas" in the search box, and hopefully that thread, etc. will come up.
