My intro is on the intro page, but I wanted to put some pics up and see if you knowledgeable people thought I was guessing right about what I picked up at the feed store. First the ones I know: my new EE chicks. I got them today and am guessing they are two or three days old.
My others are about two weeks old. I'm guessing these might be BOs.
I think these are black sex links. Looks like I'll have a few extra roos to deal with.
I don't know what these two are but they sure are pretty. Mostly black with brown bands on their wings so far.
Could these be Australorps? Or black sex link hens?
Do you think he is an EE as well? He is a roo, and he is adorable. His wings have the most beautiful bands...
Finally, I have one chicken that is HUGE, but his wings are nowhere near as developed as the rest of the birds. Did the feed store have a meat bird mixed in with their stock?
We are working on the coop, and I hope to post "in progress" pictures soon. It is way too cold in CO to have the babies out anytime soon, so for now they reside in the house.
Thanks for looking!
