New to Chicks, SoCal

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We are new to chickens we got our day olds on March 3rd

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

We got one of each that our local feed store had:

Rhode Island Red - Lucy
Brown leg Horn - Prudence
Auracana - Ruby
Delaware -Daisy who died last night, I've posted to the disease list. It's very sad.



(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? I've been following for a while, just signed up

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am a Fiber Artist working in hand made felt and Rug Hooking, Love to garden and recently learned how to Sail.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

My Husband and I live in So Cal and have been here for 6 years we moved from CT. We love it here and we share our home with one of our grown daughters, two dogs, two cats. My Husband is a High School Math teacher, our youngest daughter is a Massage therapist and our oldest daughter lives in E Oregon and is a jewelry Artist.
