New to chicks!

Hi! My husband and I along with our 3 kids (11,8,6) live on 10 acres in the beautiful Midwest. We are just starting out on our more sustainable life. One of our first steps is to get chickens! We are starting out with 12 and a beautiful chicken mansion built by my father in law. Looking forward to this new adventure. In love already!

Hi, I'm a newbie too. Nice to meet you. Did you get adults or chicks? The chicks I raised from babies are so much more connected to me than the adolescent ones. I'm only going to get my birds as chicks from now on cause it was such a beautiful experience watching them grow up. As you have children I bet they would love chicks too.
