Just joined the forum.
I used to help grandma with butchering so I know that part of raising chicks.
What I'm wondering about is the beginning.
I'm in Nebraska (just outside Seward) and thought it would be possible to raise 12-15 meaties this fall as my Springs are are very busy with coaching softball for my daughter. Is this possible? I'm thinking it is so warm during the day and even at night that a small light in the coop over the night would do the trick.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
