New to chooks

Hi I'm jenni, mum of 3 (and the 2 cats), wife, etc etc .....
Now our trampolinehas finally died we have the space for some chooks. Never had them before so trying to educate myself on which ones are best, how to look after them and keep them safe from the cats and foxes etc.
