(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We had chickens 4-5 years ago in rural New York… we now live a city in Tennessee and we just bought some baby chicks last night
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 6
(3) What breeds do you have? Rhode island reds and buff orpington‘s
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They are fun to pet and love the bug control…who doesn’t like fresh eggs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? We haven’t had a garden this year because of moving but we love to fish on the lake behind our house
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have 4 children, we homeschool, right now we have 2 dogs one is 10 months old the other is 15.5 years old, we will be getting a kitten when it’s ready to go it’s only 2 weeks now… my husband works outside the home, my kids and I do a lot with our church to stay busy and plugged in
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
i was looking up Harry Potter themed chicken names lol
