I have 2 Blue Swedish and two Pekins about 10 or 11 weeks old. They are so close to fully feathered but not quite yet. The two Pekins have blood on the ends of their wings. Just a little. The Blue’s can be a little picky at them (they’ve all been together since day one). I’m wondering if it’s just a growing thing or they do preen them a lot themselves? Also, I live in Jersey and it’s been very humid. I gave them several sources of water and they have a kiddie pool. The Pekins pant, nothing more. Again, the Blues are just fine with it.
}any thoughts would be welcome:)

They are all female. They do not fight. One Blue seems to be the troop leader. The other blue and one Pekin are in the middle and the other Pekin is low duck on the totem pole. Kind of like a pecking order with chickens. Our coop/pen is split down the middle and has chicken wire between them. We plan to combine them soon. This is not our first go around with chickens but this bunch has benefited from the internet and past experiences with chickens.

Yes. The ducks house is under the chicken coop. We do not have any predators here. No raccoons or foxes. We’ve had chickens several times and never had any predator issues. They have a house lined with straw and plenty of ventilation.

That is a really great setup! Not sure how they’re getting hurt, though. Can y get some type of camera in there to see if they are fight at night?

Wow where are you that you don't have predators. It's a daily battle here.
We live in South Jersey and generally there are plenty of predators but our acre used to be farmland and there is no where for predators to hide. No brush, trees etc. we have wild rabbits galore and an occasional groundhog. Not even any squirrels. We used to have free ranging chickens and only lost one.....she went into the street and got hit by a car.
