We got these today and were told they are Cayuga and not sure on sex. Is it to early to tell? They are around 8 weeks old.

You may be able to tell their sex at this age of their voices have started to change. Females have a loud quack, while males are quieter and raspy. They won't get their adult feathers in till about 9 weeks. Right after they finish getting all their feathers in they molt and put on adult feathers. The male tale curl and head color will appear then.

They look younger than 8 weeks old. More like 6 weeks of age. At 8 weeks all of their feathers will have grown in.

This was my Cayuga at 6 weeks old. You can see similar wing development to yours.

The people did say around 1 1/2 to 2 months old so that makes sense! Ok I'll try to be patient and wait lol I do not really have a choice 😃 thank you so much! They are all beautiful either way!

Here's an updated picture of my littles, hoping these help more on sexing?
