They are good but I think they are starting the breed season so a little wild now

Some folks nearby had lost two emu's. I guess a neighbor was caring for them and didn't lock the gate well enough. It was quite a funny thing as law enforcement was helping and people would post on a blog when they had a sighting of them. The were finally found and safely captured a week later several miles from home. I guess "a little wild" is an understatement!

someone in our neighborhood has an emu named Kevin that occasionally breaks out and we have seen him in our yard a couple times. he scared the beejeebers out of my daughter when she was 3 years old lol he came up behind her while she was swinging.
