New to farming and bird raising :)

Hi everyone. When younger i raised rabbits, horses, cattle an now I've taken on raising birds now as a hobby. - since they are smaller and easier to control LOL. I started with some little ducks and a small flock of chickens. Never had any issues. From there (this winter) we hatched our own little ducks an that was a blast. Now i have tried to add in Turkeys....an that isn't going well so far huge waste of money since in my area the chicks are not cheap! MY ultimate goal is that i would like some turkey in the freezer an then a breeding pair of the royal palms that i have along with the bourbon reds.- Anyone able to help me?

If you go to the "Other Backyard poultry" forum you will find threads regarding turkeys. Maybe you could get advice so your results with turkey rearing are more advantageous.
