Hiya!

Welcome, and be sure to ask anyone questions whenever you need to- we all love to talk poultry and are happy to help. If you have any questions you'd like to just read about, you can go to the learning center or browse around on my BYC page - I wrote a bunch of articles to help new folks out.

Glad to have you here!

Thanks for all the support everyone!

I feel sooo much better that on day 3 all the chicks seem to be happy and healthy. Whew! I am also happy to know I have people here to help on this exciting new adventure we've embarked on. Thanks again!

I suppose I'll chime in now.

Much love and good luck to you and your new baby birds.

check how hot it gets in the garage without the heat light. in july my shed can reach temperatures of 130 degrees and i dont leave chicks in there for the summer. it is ideal in the spring and fall when you only need the light on at night.
