I’m so sorry for your losses .
The Orpingtons that you got sound like they may be Buff Brahmas or Vorwerks. What color eggs do the “Orpingtons” lay? If they lay white eggs they are probably Vorwerks, but if they lay brown eggs they are probably Buff Brahmas.
The first picture is of Vorwerks and the second and third are Brahmas. You can go off of the pictures to see if they are one of these breeds.
