New to gamefoul farms

I joined Backyard Chickens a couple months ago and have never heard of Gamefoul Farms. What are they and what are they used for. A friend of mine said they can be used for cock fighting. I was under the impression that was illegal. There is one of those farms about 10 miles from me..thanks, NeeCee

Many hobbyists raise game chickens for show or breed/strain preservation. Such birds have been raised by some families for generations and actually carry the 'family' name.
