New to group - from Delta, CO

Have had 4 acre hobby farm for last 11 years. Gardened and raised chickens as a young person. Now have room, time and am raising them again. Presently have 35 hens all new except 5. The other day, 18 month old hen shows up with 16 chicks......GLORY BE, I am thrilled! She hid and hatched them. We haven't been able to find her nest yet!.......

So, just want to be in the know from "listening" to the more experienced in this group. People who can nurture animals make for good company!
