My Gigigs ( one Cockrel, two pullets)
did not return to roost tonight and I'm afraid to sleep.
They normally roost in the coop with the Chooks but decided to be renegades I guess.
Checked trees and bushes, house and barn tops...
They usually run the coop at night so I'm not sure why they're staying out...
Is it normal for Guineas to all of a sudden change their routine?
I'm sure they're up high some where...but still worried.

Guineas do what they want.... They are still very wild unlike domestic chickens. I wouldn't worry unless they don't show up in the morning. They are probably very close. Even my lavender Guinea blends into an oak tree once she high enough.

Our youngest guineas are coming up on 6 months old. They have roosted in the coop with their parents and all the chickens since they hatched. A couple weeks ago, all 9 of the young ones decided to sleep on top of the coop one night. It’s about 11’ high. They slept up there 3 or 4 nights, then they all went back inside again.
Every day is a new adventure with them.
