New to hatching eggs

I am new into hatching eggs and my incubator doesn't cradle the eggs you have to lay it on its side. Will my eggs hatch perfectly fine if they are laid on their side rather that standing up?

Hi there. Yes they'll hatch just fine. The only issue I've had with a turner like that is if the eggs were really small like quail.

Having the eggs stand up is useful if the eggs were shipped and have detached air cells.

Local eggs hatch wonderfully when on their side.
