New to hatching please help

I purchased Golden Sexlink chickens last spring hoping to hatch some chicks this spring but I just seen if I breed sexlink to sexlink they won't be sexlink chicks please tell me I haven't wasted my time with this. I just assumed male and female of same breed I would end up with that breed and I selected the sexlink because of the sexing at hatching. Any advice?

No you will not have sex linked chicks from breeding them together. Sorry :/
