OK There are a lot of experienced eggers out there. I a so interested in starting with an incubator. What is the best commercial type and price? I am thinking about hatching 10/15/20 at a time maybe? or can I make a homemade one if so any advice on anything successful that you have done? I need advise for temprature and humidity gages?

I do understand how to candle. If an egg is not fertle, how long after picking up an egg can you keep and its still good to eat?

Any links or photos will be very helpful! thanks all of you eggers!

Quote:The best incubator for up to 24 eggs, in terms of sheer quality and value has to be the Brinsea Octagon 20 Eco. There really is no effective competition at that price and size.

If you want to make one then just search these Forums for *Homemade Incubator*. You can start by clicking the link in my sig.
