Hello everyone, I am so happy to have found this site.I have found alot of useful info. I do still have alot of questions and don't know where to begin.
I guess I'll start by telling you guys how I became a duck mom.Our son had bought her for his girlfriend. Her parents of course wouldn't let her keep her so he brought her home and I fell in Love.
So here I am with alot of questions and would love some advice.
Do ducks pant? She seems to pant sometimes.
(My stupidity) she likes to play with shoestrings and she ended up swallowing it some. I pulled it out and it didn't seem to bother her much but I think she's coughing some. I'm worried!!

So sorry about your panting duck. There could still be some shoe string stuck somewhere. You might want to post this in our emergency section for more help or even our ducks section to talk to those duck experts...

Oh thank u for being worried! She's doing well. The string was like lace. Not fuzzy. AWESOME, there's an emergency section!! Tonight we found a cool and safe rope dog. I have been watching her play with it (for amusement and safety issues) & she loves it. She didn't like the first one.
