New to having chickens. How many roosters/hens do you see with my RIR?

Well I took y'alls word for it and I'm sending 3 roosters to a 30 acre farm about 20 mins north of me. I now have 1 rooster (BIG RED) and 4 barred rock hens. My straight run of 4 RIR didnt pan out so well. Thanks for the help though on knowing for sure!

Unfortunately, that's a risk with straight run. I was worried you might have been swindled into buying four known cockerels by some unscrupulous Craigslist seller.

I agree with the other posters, male. Since you kept one male, when you breed him with your Barred Rocks, you will get Black Sex-Links. I sold some of my BSL males and the rest went to freezer camp.
