New to here this evening, with a hatching question

This is my first time hatching chick eggs. I've read a lot online and I've tried to find an answer elsewhere for my question, but I've had no luck, so here it goes.
My chick eggs are on day 19. I have 2 eggs that have been working on hatching all day. The 1st egg has been working at it for 14 hours now. Should I be concerned that it's made very little progress? It seems to be okay and still trying but I'm watching it peck and peck and get no where. (Egg on right side)

The chick that started to hatch 3 hours after #1 is almost completely hatched.
 
I'm new to hatching chicks as well ( 3 hatches so far and more next Tuesday). I don't know if you should be concerned but I've had the same thing happen. The first one to pip was never the first one hatched. Mine took 21 days each time though. Hopefully the chick is just taking a break.
 
Cindy Parker, because it's so exciting, I've been watching them a lot today. It does take breaks but when it's pecking it's not making any progress at all. It concerns me that this seems to be a healthy chick (chirps a lot) possibly in the wrong position for hatching? It just keeps pecking where it's already made a hole. It doesn't seem to be able to crack more of the shell.
 
I stayed up nearly all night watching through the tiny windows of the incubator...it's hard not to:) I did the last ones in cut down egg cartons and it went much faster. Whatever you do, don't open the incubator. I learned the hard way that it's not the wisest thing to do unless the chirping stops and there is no other choice.

The more times an incubator is opened, the humidity will drop which could imperil the chick that is nearly out of the shell. Hopefully other responders will have more advice for you. I have never hatched chicks so don't feel qualified to make a judgement call about helping/not helping the first one to pip.
 
Thanks for the advice you guys. I guess I'm just sitting tight watching what happens..
