I'm fairly new to raising chickens. Got it my to first flock last March as day in old chicks, 2 sapphire gems, 3 black Australorps, and 2 Green eggers. We can only have hens (no roosters allowed) so we had to re-home 2 males and lost one pullet to botulism. I just ordered 15 day old chicks to arrive in February - 5 Pearl Star, 5 Black Australorps, and 5 green eggers.

I'm always looking for help with raising my girls. I free range them daily.

Congrats on your first flock and best wishes with the new babies. We'll expect to hear from you in February when those chicks arrive. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help you.
