New to Incubating and Hatching

Hi all. I am new to Incubating and Hatching. I am on my 2nd run. I had 8 chicks successful out of 12 with my first run and this second run i have so far only had 8 hatch out of 48 (half of these weren't fertile and the others i lost along the way) just after some good solid tips and tricks from you knowledgeable people. Will slowly work through all the forums but would love if everyone could comment their tricks

There are numerous hatching threads and forums on here and many many knowledgeable people. Someone already mentioned Sally Sunshine's hatching 101 which is a great resource. What kind of incubator are you using? Is it forced air or still air? What temperature and humidity are you running at? And have your thermometer and hygrometer been calibrated?
