Hatching
My neighbor has hens and just recently got roosters. They tell me that the hens are just starting to allow the roosters to "mate" with them, so they allowed me to take one egg and incubate it myself. Now, when I got home I used my heating pad to incubate the egg. The egg turned out to be a fail. I have read some threads and advice here and I am going to try them, but I would like any additional advice since I am only starting to incubate recently. Any help is appreciated.
