New to incubating please help

The eggs arent mine they belong to a relative as he sold his roosters these are the last of the fertile eggs so i want them to hatch. Due to disabilities i can not go a shop to purchase a heating pad or dimmer so i will have to order online but that will take a few days to be with me

i would keep putting more wet paper towels in there untill you get your humidity up, that is if you have room for them. i would think the more you get in there the more it will go up. like i said I'm pretty much new to this too.

Ok here's my thoughts ...
Humidity - think cookie pan, shallow water but a lot of surface area. BUT If you are in lockdown you should stick with the wet paper towels. I've heard of using a spray bottle with hot water.
Temp - since you can't run out to the store maybe you have a personal fan laying around that you can point at your incubator? That way you can keep the room a little cooler, close your window and keep your humidity in!?
Just brain storming! good luck!!

Im guessing no one knows the answer oh well will just have to hope for the best
Humidity...... remember its the surface amount of water that ups the humidity Cracking the bator open would present a problem keeping it up
Any way to put ice in towels and wrap around the bator? to lower the heat inside? I just don't know anything else you can do that would work well but get it in a cooler place
Everyting else has sounded good so far but you want that humidity at 65ish % now so the chicks dont shrink wrap GOOD LUCK! .

Thank you for the replies everyone the incubator is currently at 38.4c and 60% humidity i will wait until tomorrow and if it doesnt increase i will put another paper towel in there as there is no room for even another small dish but just hope the temp will keep steady

I was using a fan outside the incubator for the past few days to keep the temp lower as without it temps were too hot but i noticed it kept the humidity very low im not sure if it was because of the fan or just a coincidence
