I have three day 9 eggs ( as of May 6 ) I just candled them today. I don't see a chick developing, but the air sack is growing beautifully. Could my flash light not be powerful enough to see the chick? They feel heavier than the last time I candled them on day 6. So I think something might be going on in there

Definitely nice and dark-- I remember the first summer trying to candle. I didn't know what I was looking at. then over time and a hundred eggs, I could see much sooner by day 5 ish. Takes practice.

With pale eggs you should be able to see quite a bit. WHitish eggs --Nice way to start the candling experience.A good LED will make the egg glow. It may be that they are not growing; that can happen. Know when the eggs should be full and block all light . By days 15-16 I can't see much beyond a dark egg.

I'm pretty confident something is going on inside, on day 5 I unintentionally broke one of my eggs and it was beautifully developed for day 5. Still going to keep my fingers crossed these three turn out

Two of my eggs are a definite possibility

And I have high hopes for my others too.
