Is it good or bad for a yolk not to be moving when I candle? I have one day 8 and one day 7 and the yolks don't move and i see a tiny black spot in the center of the yolk. Which I'm hoping is a baby chick

DOn't worry about yolk moving. THe more practice you get candling the more you can see at earlier stages of development. So practice now, and the next time you will see more sooner. Tiny black spot is a baby!

Yes! I can't wait for the babies! I should be hatching two of them next weekend

They look very similar to what her pictures look like, I just don't have has powerful a flash light. But there is definitely a black mass taking up over half of the inside of my eggs
