My son rescued a White Silkie Roo a few months back he looked about 6 months old. My sister in law brought us a Maran hen who was 3 times his size and is already over a year old. A week later we got a fayoumi hen thats much more his size she's young as well but is laying regularly. Its been 3 or so weeks with all of them being together and we have fertile eggs! Reading in to her breed they aren't known for broodiness at all, and if ever 2-3 years later. So after reading a few posts on here we got ourselves HBlife 9-12 Digital Fully Automatic Incubator. I got a humidity and temp gage to go with it. Were not to sure how this will turn out but we are so excited. *Any tips ON INCUBATION and HATCHING* would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing how their babies will look and who's temperament they get.

You need more hens for him. Check on creigdlist for people that can’t keep their current birds. The chicks will be smooth feathered, walnut combed, leg feathers, especially if your maran has leg feathers, marans will have dark eggs but not as dark as moms, if your silkie is recessive white your fayomi chicks will be sex links, temperament could go either way.

Have been looking for people locally, but so far most posts are 2-3 hours out from my area. Eventually we will get him more. Thanks
