New to laying chickens

I grew up raising broilers and my husband and I did great with those. We also are trying our hand with bantam cochins since I really like the feathered legs. We have a flock of 33- about 12 of them are roosters. How many roosters should I keep? They are now 11 weeks old and I'm afraid they'll start fighting.

I agree with Redsoxs, a rooster can handle about 8-10 hens, less than that and they get overbred

Should I start getting rid of the extra roosters now? Some of them I thought were roosters must be hens from the pics I've seen on here. Is there a way to tell for sure if they are roosters or hens?
