There may be a bunch of you that have these but I just found them 2 weeks ago and I just love they way they work.

The are easy to clean, easy easy to fill and hold 5 gals of water.

I had the old design that were hard to fill and you had to get the lids on just right or they leaked over the side and the valve was always coming off and they were horrible to clean.
I could not put one inside the coop with the heat lamp in the winter because they were always leaking and ruining the deep liter.

Now the girls and Henry have water all night and it's not frozen in the morning, and have 15 gals of nice water all the time.

I saw the ad in Backyard Chickens and went on line and ordered them right away. My hubby says he enjoys using them much more than the old style and I do too!!!!

I am glad you love them. I will tell you I have three and two of them already won't hold water. It starts out great and then for some reason the water just drains out.

If anyone knows why please tell me what I am doing wrong. I have the blue plug in the bottom.

If they did not leak then I would agree, they are easy and worth getting.

Well that is discouraging. I hope these hold up. If anyone else has them and they are still working please let us know! I've had them almost 2 weeks now and so far no problems.

I don't mean to be discouraging. I just wanted to give you a heads up so you try them out before buying 3 like I did. It is frustrating when you add water and go out an hour later and its gone. You worry! Did they get any?

One is still holding up though. I just can't figure it out. I don't see any cracks.

I would take the two apart and make sure everything is in properly. I know I got one of the blue pieces in upside down and it didn't work properly. and you have to make sure that valve stop is in straight. (hope this makes sense)
