They actually sell this ugly orange plastic doghouse looking outdoor brooder. There's a space for a lamp too if I remember correctly. It was something like $45 though and I thought geez, get a rubbermaid tub, cut some holes and save the $.


Cat box tops are good too. Or even the whole box indoors. (scroll down a little

That's funny. I didn't know that they sold them like that. I bought my cat a littermaid cat box and took the covered box out and I put it in my bucks cage to see if he would use it. He loves it. Not as a litter box but as somewhere to sleep during the day and then he hops on top of it at night to survey his "kingdom". I've picked up a few more at the flea market for my does.
