new to NYC and very interested in raising chickens

Hello as stated in the title I'm new here and interested in entering the world of raising chickens. Although I don't know and wife worries that if chickens are slow here in Inwood WV. Any help and information/advice is greatly welcome and appreciated.

There is lots of useful information there that will keep you from making beginners' mistakes. Raising chickens is a very worthwhile and worthy endeavor but it does require some work and care. Please feel free to ask any specific questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting your flock.

Glad you could join the flock! As Michael said raising chickens is a very worth while experience. They are such endearing creature and the chicken TV is fantastic! Looking after and keeping your flock happy and well cared for gives a real sense of accomplishment especially when you get the fresh eggs at the end of it. Defiantly drop the link Michael has left for you, has some great articles.
