New to quail keeping

Your two older hens should be fertile so collect their eggs for 5 days (keep in a cool place 5 -8 degrees celcius) then put them in the incubator and see how you go with the hatch.

So I thought I'd share some pictures I have taken of our birds and our setup. Hope you enjoy!

Our roo, Rusty.

The 4 girls, Woody, Tweety, Daisy and Roadie.

Our home made incubator, lights on but nobody's home!

With the light off so you can see in better.

I have a wooden dowel glued to the bottom of the egg carton and its poking out through the side. Turn all 12 eggs at once without having to open the bator!

Our larger coop, currently holding just the 4 girls. They tend to sleep in the small section and roam the large bit by day.

Rusty, sequestered on his own to give the hens a break.
