new to quail, sand question

Just use dry dirt from the yard. They will love it. Better yet do this: take the dirt from one of your moms favorite plants. When she ask what happened tell her you were to busy to take me to the store

Very smart lol I’ll ask my cousin to take me to Lowe’s also another question i moved my quails to a different cage bcuz they’re both males so you know they were fighting but I’ve only seen them do it twice , you know how dogs chase their tales Wel my quails looked like they were doing something similar but they were doing it to the sides of them , what does that mean

I am NO quail whisperer by any means. I’m new to the madness myself. I would guess they are trying to establish who is boss. If no damage is being done I would leave them. BUT I would have a plan in place if it gets worse and you need to separate them.
