Here’s a couple pics! Hard to catch them all in one photo. They love to dart around. They are a lot of fun to watch. They are 6 days old. I have 4. Had five but lost one the first night. The others had smothered it unfortunately…

They are so little and cute! I hatched some for the farmer across the road so I know how they dart around right out of the shell almost!

Thank you. It’s incredible to me how fast they are growing. I’ve only had them since Tuesday and they have already grown quite a bit. They have started running and jumping, flapping and starting getting on the heating plate! I put a cover over the top of the plate to keep them off. We are trying to handle them as much as we can. I don’t want them to be scared of us. One likes to sleep in your hand.

They will always recognize you as a source of food so won't fear you, in general. When their hormones hit, it is very natural for them to become more aloof. They are prey. You are predator. They should be cautious. It's a survival instinct.
