Check on labels at feed store but from memory 6 weeks on chick starter but longer won't hurt them so feel free to keep them on it till you use up the bag.
Then change to pullet grower and you can use that right up till they start to lay then you can change to a layer mix.
Just don't jump from chick starter to layer as giving it to them too soon can cause rickets because they don't have a way to use the extra calcium in it till they are laying so it can cause an imbalance. . Treating some new chickens with rickets I bought from a breeder who did exactly that.
I have chicks that are about a month old. When do I start giving them chicken feed vs chick feed? Are there any other foods I can give chickens (vegetables)?
