Hello from Central CA!
My husband, kids, and I moved to the country a few months ago. With the property we acquired 2 roosters and 3 hens. Love having them around, so we got 6 pullets. Then a couple weeks later a chick was born here. I don't know the gender, it was born around April 3rd or so. In the last couple months, we've lost a rooster and 3 of the store bought chicks. The hens have been setting for the last 3 weeks, today we got another addition to the clan. It's so cute! Been sitting out here watching them all interact for hours, really need to get my chores done! I enjoy reading the posts here and look forward to learning more.
