New to raising chickens

Welcome to Backyard chickens. A dozen chicks will quickly outgrow their brooder box.
They will be practicing flying and either fly out, or fall out and be unable to get back inside. Do you have a wire top to prevent that from happening?

I have a very tall industrial sized box with a perfectly sized screen for the top. Plenty of room to roam and roost.
