Good morning, all! My wife and I are new to raising chickens and found ourselves doing a lot of googling, which led us to the site, more often than not. So instead of continuing to just lurk, we decided to join! Looking forward to getting to know everybody and picking your brains!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We started our flock 2-weeks ago, and we are brand new to raising chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 6 birds: Big Bird, Pebbles, Nemo, Cinnamon, Sugar, and Mari
(3) What breeds do you have?
All 6 are Bantams, but we don't know if they are pure Bantams or a Bantam variety of another breed.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
So far, just knowing that we are going to have some fresh eggs i the future!
