New to raising chicks

We, for the first time, tried to have our buff hen hatch an egg. She did. It was hatched a couple of days ago. We were worried that the rooster and the other hens might hurt the chick, so we removed it and brought it inside. The problem is the baby chick is very upset and won't stop chirping. I went to the local feed store and purchased another chick (same breed, same age) thinking this would help. But the chick is still pretty upset.
Any suggestions?

the chriping is just part of raising chicks.i think your chicks will be just fine.
