Hello everyone, I am new to the raising chickens. My husbands best friend raises them and he is going to help us start a small flock. From what I understand the rooster that he will be giving us is a speckled Sussex. Are these breeds friendly? Will my kids be able to pet and touch him without him trying to attack? Just wanting to know before we agree to get him and build the coop. Thanks for all the help in advance.
