new to showing. help?

Hey, I am fairly new to chickens.
I have owned them for about a year, I am interested in showing at fair for FFA.
Two of my hens, a RIR and a red star (or a Barred Rock) are ones I want to show.

I dont know how to fit & show.

any tips on ANYTHING would help!!

Might ask the coordinator of your fair for specific rules and opperations that happen there.

You might want to make sure your birds aren't "production" birds as they may not fit the breed standard. I also do not think red stars are a recognized breed.

You should invest in an APA standard of perfection. Lots of great info

Red stars are not in the standard, they are a mix.
