Hi everyone,
I am new to this site as far as a member. I have been on it many times looking for information. I don't know why it took me so long to join. I have been raising chickens, ducks and turkeys for over 15 years. Goes back to my childhood with my grandparents meeting with family twice a year to do the culling and plucking process. Never really thought much about it in regards to ( did everyone else do this? ) just a way of life. Now saying that, my feather babies never have to worry about being culled. They have names and are part of my family. Sorry, yes I know you shouldn't name your food. These babies are not food to me, at least now while the grocery stores are still open. Let's hope it stays that way because I may starve to death if they don't. I am looking forward to learning more. Thank you for giving me the privilege to join your community.

Hello and welcome back to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
I want to raise broilers next year. None will be named!
All my layers have names. I have no idea what I am going to do when they stop laying. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it!

Welcome to BYC.

Hello and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us.

This is a useful link of BYC guides to take a look at announcements-feedback-issues-guides.3 I’d suggest including your location using the guide in that link. You can use this link to contact members in your area - Find your State's thread.

Best wishes
