I tried to post an introduction once already and the app went berserk on me. My name is Jae and Im from Miami,Fl. I do not live on a farm or even a large area of land. I live in a very heavily populated suburb of Miami and its all very much the city life. I live in a community complex where we have A few man made lakes and, as you all probably know(or even if you didnt), In Miami, along with lakes, come ducks. Muscovy in specifically. Muscovies as we all know are invasive and the city has not interest in saving, feeding, helping or rehabilitating them. As an animal lover I can not stand by and watch them just disappear. Every spring we obviously have hundreds of babies hatching. In past years, my mother and I, @umcanes123 , have been able to successfully rehabilitate and release the neighborhood hatchlings. However, this year has been a complete and total failure and its breaking my heart. I have done everything I can think of for these little guys. Went to the local feed and tractor supply and i got duck feed(specifically for them and recommended by the store associate), Im providing them with water that Ive infused with vitamin B12 supplement(liquid). Ive tried sugar water and pedialyte to pep them up. And they just keep dropping one by one. I try to leave them with thier mother as long as possible as to not separate them but she keeps loosing them and they keep dying....She has 3 left, one of which is in my position as hes the weakest and she has the last two. However, all three appear to be in the same condition. Their heads hang low and they seem to be gasping for air. Ive attached a link to a youtube video of the latest duckling.

Any suggestions or ideas what can be wrong?

***Please let me add as i know this is a very serious and involved website for breeders, My mother and I are not breeders nor are we trying to get into breeding. We do not buy the ducks or anything like that. We are aware that muscovy are an invasive species and our complex urges us to rid the neighborhood of the eggs by shaking them; I can not and will never do that. I love animals of ALL species and I could NEVER intentionally cause one any harm. Born or not. I just want a little insight as to what can be wrong without having to spend hundreds of dollars that i dont have by going to an exotic pet vet clinic as those are the only ones who treat ducks here in Miami. In the past, Ive spent over $1500 on saving neighborhood ducks who in the end sometimes get picked up by the city and then euthanized. I am aware that they are not in their natural habitat here in Florida and the definitely do not receive the proper nutrition as people feed them left over human food. I do however, feed the ones in front of my house duck feed and vitamin infused water.

thanks guys!

Ducks can have walking problems if lacking sufficient niacin.@Isaac O
Right...Im aware about the niacin issue which is why I switched from starter feed non medicated to the Purina Duck Feed which the store associate told me brings the proper amount of niacin needed for ducks. However, it does not seem to be working for this one particular duck and her babies. Shes seems a bit ill herself. She just wants to be laying down. All the ducks around my complex are severely malnutritioned. They suffer from the niacin deficiency and walk around looking all greasy and dirty with "angel wings".... I try to do the best I can for the ones who choose to live on my front yard but I'm beginning to think that maybe theyre just too far gone already.

Today I will try to go to get some brewers yeast at the nutrition store. Its just that with COVID, here in Miami, it isnt the wisest to going out. We've had a HUGE increase in cases the last two weeks. Like over 3-5000 new cases per DAY! Its awful
