New to Site

I've had hens since last March. Purchased one day old pullets from the local Tractor Supply. I started with 8 Red Sex Links, 2 Black Sex Links, one Easter Egger & one hen that I never did figure out what type of chicken it is.... I lost one of the Reds about 6 weeks ago. So I still have 11 hens from my 1st group. All are brown egg layers except for the one laying a Green/blue egg. Looking for a few suggestions for some different breeds to add to the flock. I'm in the "Thumb" area of Michigan.

I also got my flock this year. I have 5 buff orpingtons, 5 black australorps & 5 barred rocks. All my girlies are sweet. I would recommend any of these breeds.

How many eggs do you get?

I was getting 10 - 11 a day..... Now I'm down to 6 - 8 a day in the winter......
