I have 17 laying chickens and three rabbits. I did have quail until a weasel got in the other day. I raised turkeys this year for the first time and had great success. I will do them again next year. I bought my self a incubator so will be looking for any type of fowl eggs to hatch. My grandfather was known has the chicken man from where he lived. I remember as a kid going to a place down south and picking up thousands of chicks in his big cargo van and have to drive 6 hrs home listening to them peep. He also was a judge for poultry shows around Ontario. I have learned a lot from him and glad to beable to pass on some family heritage to my own children.
