New to the board

Thanks to all the great welcomes! I have a lot of homework to do.
I am thinking of getting three Speckled Sussex hens.

Speckled Sussex are a wonderful breed. They are beautiful, hardy, friendly and gentle (my children made lap pets of them), and good layers of large, brown eggs.

The 3 SS in our mixed flock are the sweetest birds we have (not that any of them are horrid, lol). And they seem to get prettier the older they get, nice layers too.
